Queen’s Park 08/09 Joma Home Shirt
The Scottish team Queen’s Park lauched their new home shirt, made by Joma:
The shirt is all striped horizontally in black and white.
Queen’s Park is the first team founded in Scotland, in 9th July, 1867. The club is based in Glasgow, and its stadium is the Hempdem Park, also the Scottish National team home stadium.
Also known as “The Hoops” and “The Spiders”, the team has historically resisted professionalism in the game; former professional players from other clubs were not allowed to play for Queen’s Park and in 1890 the club refused to join the newly-formed Scottish League. The team joined the league in 1900.
Nowadays, the club plays in the Scottish Second Division, endind the last season in 8th.

I don’t care what people say, I enjoy going to see my local team….I don’t go along with the main who support the old firm or the big English clubs.
On a side note, I remember going to watch us play Queens Park a few years back, Hampden, 50 odd thousand seater ground and only 900 people there! Including 50 or so from Alloa.
