Puma extend Ivory Coast shirt deal
Puma seems to bring good luck to African Nations, as Egypt, whose shirts are sponsored by Puma, won the African Nations Cup 2008. Besides celebrating this wonderful victory, Puma have announced the renewal of the shirt sponsorship deal with Ivory Coast. The deal goes beyond the 2014 World Cup and shows Puma’s strong belief in the potential of African nations, and especially of Ivory Coast.
Côte d’Ivoire’s Puma shirt contract extended

Puma Chairman and Chief Executive Jochen Zeitz echoed this trust, declaring: “The Ivory Coast is one of Africa’s – and the world’s – most talented teams, as we’ve seen at the 2006 World Cup and the Africa Cup of Nations the past two weeks. PUMA is proud to work with the FIF and support Les Elephants for many years to come.”
Ivory Coast made their first World Cup appearance in 2006. Their style of play was praised by many critics and they have a great bunch of players, with the most notable being Chelsea striker Didier Drogba. The Elephants, as they are nicknamed, have the potential to continue improving and do well in international tournaments. This deal secures shirts to be manufactured by Puma for the 2010 World Cup, 2014 World Cup, as well as the next three African Nations Cups (2010, 2012, 2014).

i like the make puma
good. expect to see more of the same from puma (copies off other puma kits)
There’s nothing wrong with the french calling them “Côte d’Ivoire” by I don’t see why we should use the same term in english. I think the official english version should be “Ivory Coast”. We don’t, for example, call South Africa “L’Afrique du Sud”.
