Probable Barcelona 2011/12 Home Shirt

Following Barcelona’s new shirt sponsor with Qatar Foundation, we now have a better idea of how the Spanish club’s new home shirt will be.

The blue and red stripes will be thinner and they get smaller as they go from right to left diagonally. The shirt features a round red collar and blue sleeves. The Nike logo is placed on the top right part of the chest with the club crest placed on the opposite left. Qatar Foundation, Barcelona’s new sponsor worth £25 million per season has its logo placed on the center part of the shirt.

  1. Noah:

It’s horrible that they have a sponsored shirt now to. First Atletic Bilbao and now Barcelona to. Isn’t there any proud club in the world which is not following the call of money and has no shirt sponsor?

  2. Mitophus:

If that is to be Barca’s kit it’s awful, much prefer this seasons.

  3. augustus:

Good Lord. That has to be a fake. The Qatar logo is nearly as big as the country. Dreadful on every level.

  4. Johnsie:

Its a fake – Barca have already said that UNICEF will continue to take priority on the shirt. They don’t even get a mention on it!

  5. barry bannan:

that design was on FSC too, but Johnsie is right, unicef will still have priority.

  6. Judge Carl Teper:

this seasons Barca shirt is class, this new design looks like a 3rd rate team such as Crystal Palace,i wish an STD on the designers

  7. Wolfman Dan:

It looks like someone dared the Nike designers to make Barcelona’s kit look like a pub team!

  8. D King:

Barcelona has a sponsor, whilst I liked the idea of them not having one, the UEFA financial rules means that clubs will be searching to maximise their incomes. So expect
1> The Premier League TV deal to get broken up so United, Spurs, City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal can increase their incomes.
2> Expect more ground to become names, evidently Chelsea are looking to do this
3> Expect more logos on the shirts, Italy has two, France and Scandanavia have loads, so expect more in the PL. :-(

  9. SteelyTom:

Malawi, Kazakhstan, Liechtenstein, Moldova…. The list of potential sponsors expands.

  10. fdssdfg:

wont be buying it, as it looks ****

  11. matt:

Its a fake – Barca have already said that UNICEF will continue to take priority on the shirt. They don’t even get a mention on it!

WRONG. Qatar foundation will take priority.

  12. RCY577:

what has happened? why switch from unicef to qatar foundation??? and also the stripes go really horrible at the bottom. very poor.

  13. hthejambo:

Not good not good at all yet antoher poor effort from nike if this is the real one i will b very dissapointed!

  14. yo mamma:

What happened to the bottom corner on the right??

  15. Zoltan:

    that is truly awful…

  16. jambo4eva:

what happend to unicef plus its minging

  17. Mitchivic:

“Why switch from unicef to Qatar Foundation” firstly they’re not they’re having both and secondly hmmm let me think maybe something to do with money just a guess

  18. Tim:

“Isn’t there any proud club in the world which is not following the call of money and has no shirt sponsor?”

FC United of Manchester spring to mind.

  19. NickShelt:

That is a trully awful kit. It HAS to be a fake, the usually slick Nike wouldn’t allow one of their biggest sponsorships to wear that.

  20. adj:

very poor compared to other quality barca shirts

  21. TS:

Barcelona shirts look better with less, thicker stripes (like this season) the random stripes on this are not to my liking much. not too keen on the fully blue sleeves.

And i’m sure I read on Barca’s website that Qatar Foundation will be on the front as in the picture, UNICEF will be on the back under the players number.

  22. Ben:

The shirt itself is okay. Not as good as their current jersey or as good as some of the ones they’ve had in previous seasons. But MY WORD the sponsor ruins it!

  23. land:

it doesn’t look bad even with the sponsor maybe barca will go back to the days where they didnt have sponsors who knows unicef or qatar it will look good, it is a barca kit

  24. connor:

its cleary not it the shirt looks to bad a quality and its on some guys stair case

  25. Craig McCall:

All Of Youes Dont Know Anything About Football Its Good Seeing Barcelona Waeee Ah Sponsor oan There Shirt

  26. Connor:

barcelona dont charge for sponsors you mongs, they actually pay the charity to appear on the shirt, but the logo is absolutley horribs tbh

  27. Fraser dfc:

    That is absouloutly awful
