Premier League Shirts Cup Round One: Aston Villa vs Burnley
Last week’s Premier League Shirts Cup matchup between Wolves and Arsenal ended in Arsenal’s favour with 77.3% to Wolves’ 22.7% out of a total of 493 votes. The red and blue shirts of Arsenal seems to have been preferred to Wolverhampton’s orange and white shirts, helped by Arsenal’s significantly larger fanbase. The Arsenal shirts pass on to the next round of the Premier League Shirts Cup: the Quarter-Final Stage, joined by Manchester City, West Ham and Tottenham.
This week, where we will also have the European Shirts Cup running as it is a Champions League matchweek, will see Aston Villa’s shirts come up against the shirts of Burnley. This can be called the Battle of the Clarets, as both teams have claret home shirts, with light blue details. Moreover, the away shirts also have the same colour: white. But which design do football shirt fans prefer? Is it Aston Villa’s Nike design with Acorns as the shirt sponsor, or is it Burnley’s Errea design with Cooke as the shirt sponsor? It’s your decision.
