Potential Greece World Cup Shirt Launched

Posted on November 11th, 2009 in Greece, World Cup by zebra10

Greece are yet to secure a place in the 2010 South Africa World Cup finals after they finished in Group 2 with 20 points, just one point short of group winners Switzerland. Greece won 6, drew 2 and lost 2, the latter being both to Switzerland.

Greece are now set to face Ukraine in the World Cup Play-offs which will be played on November 14 and 18. Although Greece lifted the European Championship in Portugal 2004, they have yet to show their domination in the World Cup finals and the last time they managed to qualify for the World Cup was in 1994 – being their only appearance.

The new Greek 2010/12 shirt just launched is mainly white featuring light blue touches. The shirt is manufactured by adidas and features the adidas 3-stripes in light blue on the shoulders as well as the adidas logo on the top right part of the shirt with the club crest placed on the opposite left.
