English League Two club Port Vale FC have signed a deal with UK Window Systems Ltd which will see the Sneyd Green based company gracing the front of the club's home shirts until the end of the season.
The new sponsor logo made its first appearance on the club's shirts during Port Vale's 2-2 draw with York last Saturday.
Gary Beech, Director of UK Windows Systems Ltd, said:
“I’ve been a Port Vale supporter since I was a boy so when the opportunity came along to sponsor the shirts, it was a chance too good to pass up.
“As a business, it’s important to give something back to our local football club and I’m delighted that we have been able to show our support in this way, which will offer reciprocal benefits.”
Established in 2003, the company boasts 38 employees. As well as manufacturing PVC-U windows, doors and conservatories, the business also has a large plastics trade counter, ‘The Plastics Depot’, which stocks building materials for trade and the general public. The company has three directors; Richard Barlow, Gary Beech, Darren Larkin.
FTD Director John Booth who has acted as a Commercial consultant on the deal added:
“We thank UK Windows Systems Ltd for their support and welcome them on board as an important partner for the club.
“We had initial discussions with the company when they attended the Corporate Open Day in September, which underlines why events such as that are key in securing opportunities and potential revenue for Port Vale.”
This news comes after another positive for the club after it had signed a kit sponsorship deal with Sondico.
