Porsmouth Third Shirt 2009/10
We had already brought you news of Portsmouth’s new 2009/10 home & away shirts and now we bring you the club’s third shirt for this season. The club wore it against Birmingham when they played them in mid-August and lost 1-0.
The shirt manufacturer is Canterbury although the latter have gone into administration and bought by JD Sports during a challenging Summer period for the sportswear company.
The shirt is mainly black with blue horizontal pin stripes. Shirt sponsor Jobsite have their logo printed across the center of the shirt. Canterbury logo is featured on the top right part of the chest with the club crest on the opposite left.

Thanks to Bazza Houston for the news!

that’s a very nice shirt i realy like it
Looks like QPR shirt from a few years back, when Danny Shittu was there. Those were the days when QPR could play football!

Also available in claret and amber.

The only question you have to ask is WHY?
very decent kit, but how come the team like portsmouth need a third kit?
panhandle: agreed.
Ajay: for when they play teams who have the same colours as them.
I love this kit. Portsmouth, worst team in the Premier but the best kits..
Very very nice kits.
It’s because of money, you idiots
So, we are on our way to have 3 kits per season.
Squeeze the supporters, squeeze…..
3 Shirts for a bottom of the league club which is below average.
nice shirt i like it!
thats a really nice shirt i love canterbury shame pompey are going down though and they know it
yeahh we’re goin down

but i don’t think many teams can say that they have been in the premierleague for 7 seasons and acheievd what we have. fa cup winners, getting into europe, having arguably one of the best teams in the world, ac milan, playing at fratton park and drawing to them, and having players like diarra, crouch, defoe, muntari, glen johnson etc playing at our club. pompey fans should be proud
and we need 3 shirts incase we play against a team in blue and white obviously
i.e, Wigan and Blackburn
