Following the previous article announcing that CasinoRed.com would sponsor Huddersfield town, we now have pictures of town’s kit.
Huddersfield Town’s 07/08 Shirt Photos
The new lightweight shirt features manufacturer Mitre’s Cool Fit system, which is designed give the players more freedom of movement with mesh panels down the side to allow heat to dissipate and for cooler air to circulate, whilst at the same time body moisture is drawn away from the skin to the mesh.
On the left chest the club’s badge now appears shaped as a shield, rather than being embroidered on as last season. The three stars which pertain to the team’s three league championship wins in the 1920s are still above the badge.
Whilst still the traditional blue & white stripes of Town, this season the stripes are thicker and darker than last year and it is a white stripe down the centre of the shirt this time around. Yorkshire Building Society are replaced on the front of the shirt by new sponsors CasinoRed.com.
The numbers on the back of the shirt will be much clearer in 2007/08 as the stripes do not continue on the back of the shirt, this time it is plain white, which will improve the clarity of player names & numbers.
The Huddersfield shirt will be worn with white shorts and blue & white hooped socks.
Don’t like the very dark blue or round collar
