Peterborough United 10/11 Home Shirt

Today the new Posh home kit went on sale, with plenty of fans turning up at Peterborough United’s London Road club shop to get their hands on the shirt. The blue home shirt is made by adidas and features the club website ThePosh.com in place of a sponsor on the front.

Peterborough describe the shirt as blue with white piping, the adidas logo is centered just beneath the collar and the club crest is on the player left chest. The Posh will be playing in League One next season, after an unsuccessful Championship campaign saw them relegated.

  1. Barry:

Nice to see the club giving the oompa loompas a chance to promote the kit

  2. Sobbe:

    This the Nigeria Home kit

  3. Sobbe:

    But it looks nice

  4. gregs:

WTF is with those orange children? Horrible little goblins.

  5. dim:

How are they sponsoring themself? Makes no sense at all.

  6. George Lazenby 007:

LOL at the umpa lumpa kids.this is a rubbish shirt same as chelsea’s kit from 4 years ago and surely promoting their own clubs website is a waste of time and money.

  7. NTFClad93:

fuc* fat Barry Fry and Fuc* THE POSH.peterborough are CUN*s from a northampton fan

  8. siprior:

Posh fan here, we apparently couldn’t get a sponsor as noone would pay us what we felt we deserved. I like the shirt, i don’t know why the official club shots weren’t used on here with the players in the kit with the blue shorts and white socks. I like it!

  9. Hatter:

Seems this is Adidas’ 2010 template. Derby’s new kit seems to look similar to this, atleast according to the teaser clip. And guess what? Posh’s kit last year was ours in blue and white, instead of white and black! Nice to know the adidas designers are really original!

  10. Carlos:

But what about those ghoulish children, siprior?! You have orange kids modeling an old chelsea shirt template, with your own fcuking website as sponsor?!? Agree with NTFClad93 – Barry Fry is a T.wat and your club is a joke.

  11. REPD SW19s army:

    its Chelsea!!!!!!!!!

  12. RCY577:

What is WRONG with Peterborough? They use their own fuc*ing website as their blo*dy sponsor? Answer: They’re to sh*t and poor to afford a decent sponsor!!! :L

  13. Benji459:

RCY577…. shut up lol!! I dont think you quite get how sponsorship works now do you?? The sponsor pays the club to feature their logo on the team shirts, not the club paying the sponsor. So no matter how poor the team are financially wouldn’t stop them from getting a sponsor for their shirts!! Please learn the basics of how business and sponsorship works before making a dumba(ss) comment such as the one you made above, and then had the gall to put a little smirking face on it!! And secondly teams bigger than Peterborough have had to sponsor themselves in hard times too, an example of this being Sheffield United who in the late nineties just had their nickname, Blades, on their shirts. Don’t mock smaller clubs for doing what they have to do in hard times and advertising themselves for a little extra exposure. Gosh and I’m not even a posh fan!!! It’s just respect and common decency!!!

  14. jackbrown550:

    hatter,
from the teaser clip its clear our new shirt is the same as Bristol’s except in black and white. And to correct you, Peterborough’s shirt last year wasnt a blue version of ours, it was a blue version of the nasty flourescent green shirt we had.

I quite like this shirt though, would be a good away shirt for the Super Rams, eventhough we’ll just get a black version of our home shirt :(

  15. Alex:

I hate this new kit, im just gunna keep wearing last year’s kit, 10x nicer! posh are gunna be promoted, this season! :D

  16. Merrick:

    Oompa Loompa, dumper-de-do, I’ve got a little riddle for you, Barry-fry-is-so-fu.cking-fat, is-this-why-the-posh-are-so-fcuking-c.rap?

  17. Posh fan:

The majority of Posh fans can’t stand Fry so that won’t wind any of us up. The shirt is decent enough, would have been nice to see white sleeves and white shorts as they’re commemorating 50 years in the league with a new style badge (which is very similar to the new badge adidas made us adopt).

  18. Adidas rep:

I tell what we’ll do with all the old Chelsea kits we don’t sell from 2 seasons ago,we’ll sell them to Peterboro,no-one will know

  19. Justin D:

nice kit by posh but they should have had maybe one of the players to model it instead of oranges :)

  20. siprior:

They have done official player shots, im not sure why they weren’t used.

  21. poshboy:

Yeah I know why werent the good pics used instead of those little oompa lumpas!! I just bought this kit and its quality, just what we need to get back to the champs next season. BTW thanks Boyd for signing a new contract. Come on POSH!!!!

  22. Nathan:

I hate this kit, why do posh have such a rubbish shirt on our 50th year of football league presence. It’s still better than that horrible diadora one we had a few seasons ago though!

  23. Shaun:

I hate this, especially blue shorts. And WTF is with the orange kids?
