Partick Thistle Puma Kits 2012/13

Partick Thistle is a Scottish club playing in the second division in Scotland, the Scottish First Division (behind the Scottish Premier League). In 2011/12, the club finished 6th out of 10 clubs. In recent history they have won the Scottish Football League First Division in 1970/71, 1975/76 and 2001/02.

The club has launched its new kits for the upcoming 2012/13 campaign. The club’s kits are manufactured by German brand Puma and sponsored by MACB. The home shirt has a yellow base colour with four red, thin, vertical stripes on the body. The sleeve hems are red and so is the flapped collar. The away shirt is black with a purple graphic on the body and a purple stripe on the right shoulder. The third kit is black with a red V-neck collar, red sleeve hems, and a red and yellow stripe on both the right shoulder and the left part of the body. A purple goalkeeper shirt was also unveiled.

  1. Adamly:

    I likey! Good effort

  2. Stevey:

Does both their away and third kits really have a black base? And the one with purple trim is the only one with a current (for next season anyway) template. Nice enough though…

  3. Rossco:

Beautiful effort for a cult team. Will the effort be justified on the pitch? No, because it`s Thistle, but all the best to them anyway.

  4. loulou:

How do partick thistle, a team playing in the 2nd tier of scottish football, get a unique and quality design whilst teams like cardiff etc.have to make do with generic templates?

  5. Jebus:

Home kit is quite good, away kit is amazing, and 3rd kit is also very nice. Goalie kit not too shabby either.

  6. Spiderman:

The Home shirts the same as last season and the black 3rd was last seasons Away shirt. Only new shirt is the Away shirt

  7. El Patriato:

the away shirt is pretty decent but the other ones not so much!!

  8. derek:

home and 3rd look great, not really a fan of purple

  9. Jarkko:

The bottom purple one is the Hibs gk kit from 2 seasons ago. Not bad all round, quite like these, especially the black/purple away.

  10. Stuart:

    1. partick thistle play in the first dicision in scotland.

    2. this is clearly last seasons strips.

p.s this is clearly not a website of football knowledge.

  11. Robert:

Really really nice home kit why can’t we get templates like that in league 2??

  12. Jarkko:

@Stuart – 1. “Partick Thistle is a Scottish club playing in the second division in Scotland, the Scottish First Division (behind the Scottish Premier League)” – if you read the paragraph properly then you’d see your point is invalid.

    2. A few teams still kept their home kits for 2 seasons, Liverpool being a high profile one, and many use the away as the next seasons third kit. It’s up to them what they do, but the away and gk appear new to the club.

    3. It is knowledgeable, it posts images of kits, allows people to comment. Just because it doesn’t post images within 20 minutes of a kit release doesn’t mean it’s bad. If you don’t like it feel free to go elsewhere.

  13. aditoff:

Stuart, I think the sponsors are new, as is the away shirt. So,make your’first dicision’ (sic)to try not to be so smug.

  14. Footy Shirt Fanatic:

I would like to write some articles on the latest shirt releases. I’m registered but can’t see anywhere to write a new article, would anyone be so kind and tell me how I can do this? Thank You!

  15. geha714:

All kits are good, but the away is just pure class. I would buy it if I have the chance.

  16. bob:

    It’s “Patrick”

  17. Giro:

No, Bob. It’s Partick. They originate from Partick.

  18. Frank Sidebottom:

Well even if the home shirt is old it’s still really fantastic. You know it is. It really is.

  19. KL:

Change the home kit colours to black and white , and you have the new Newcastle united home kit …. see it now

  20. AdiToff:

Giro, they orginated in Partick. Now they play in Maryhill.

  21. sanches:

Home and Away kits are great!!
