Palmeiras from Brazil have officially unveiled their new home strip manufactured by Adidas. The club, which plays in the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A, is known as Big Green, and ranked 7th in the 2007/08 season. They are currently managed by ex-Real Madrid coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo, which aims to uphold the club’s reputation as one of the most popular and traditional clubs in Brazil. The new home shirt will be green with white piping on the front. The collar will be white and the traditional Adidas stripes will also be white. Shirt sponsors, being car manufacturers FIAT, have their logo placed in the centre in white. The shirt is complemented by white shorts with green side piping. Below you can have a closer look at the shirt and the unveiling ceremony.
