Oxford United home shirt 2008/09

Posted on July 23rd, 2008 in Oxford United by reddevilrooney

Oxford United play in the Blue Square Premier, which is the fifth level of league football in England. Last season, the team ranked in the 9th place. The Yellows, as they are nicknamed, have unveiled their new home kit for the 2008/09 campaign. The shirt is designed and manufactured by Carlotti, while Buildbase sponsors the playing kits.

The new home shirt will be yellow, as is the traditional colour of Oxford United. It has a dark blue trim on the sleeves and bottom edge, a dark blue circular collar and dark blue details around the chest and on the sides. The sponsor logo is the same colour, and the Carlotti logo is black on the right side of the chest. It is made of material that allows air to pass and wicks away perspiration from the players’ bodies during matches. Oxford United used blonde model Lyndsay Fayle, who is the current Miss Oxford, to unveil their new kit. The shirt was made available from Tuesday 22nd July, while preorders were dispatched. The prices are:

  • Adults: £39.99
  • Children: £29.99
  • Infants: 18.99

look this kit is poor and so is your football you will never be as good as your rowing team. just give up football now so you cant get more embarrised as you already are!! by the way the shirts are a rip-off price for a blue-square conference side all of 3 people are going to buy it (the people in the picture) lol get a life

Oh, the irony…. a Spurs fan takes the time to slag off a Blue Square team’s kit, then signs off with “get a life”!
