Official: New Zealand World Cup 2010 Home Shirt
The New Zealand national football team will be playing in their second World Cup in their history next summer and they have yet to get their first point in a World Cup, as they finished the 1982 group stage with 3 losses. This year, the team will be facing World Cup 2006 holders Italy, as well as Paraguay and Slovakia. Their campaign starts on the 15th June at Rustenburg against Slovakia, continues on the 20th June at Nelspruit against Italy, and face Paraguay on the 24th June at Polokwane.
After being leaked earlier this year, leaks were proven to be correct, as the new Nike shirt has now been officially been unveiled at Auckland. The shirt has a white colour, with a small black design near the hem of each sleeve. It has a V-neck collar, and the text ‘New Zealand’ at the back of the neck. The complementary shorts and socks are also white. This kit will be used in the matches against Slovakia and Paraguay, while the away shirt which has already been unveiled will be worn against Italy. A friendly against Australia is scheduled for the 24th May, where this new home kit will be worn on the field for the first time. An emphasis was placed on the environmental features of the new shirt. Each New Zealand shirt is made out of up to 8 recycled plastic bottles. The home goalkeeper kit was also unveiled, which will be light blue, apart from the sleeves and top bands of the socks that will be a darker shade of blue.

Yeah, I don’t know about their socks but I love their away jersey but this is alright.
I like the style of the socks, just not for this kit. They’ve got too much going on for this simple style kit.
