After finishing 15th in the 2011/12 Bundesliga table, the team looks set to finish in a respectable top-half position in the 2012/13 campaign. HSV are 7th with 48 points out of 33 matches, with one match left to wrap up the campaign.

HSV home

The new kit of HSV was launched by the club and shirt supplier Adidas. The shirt marks the club’s 50th anniversary playing consecutively in the top division in Germany, the Bundesliga. HSV can be proud to say that they are the only team to have played for 50 years uninterrupted in the top flight. The new kit will be used for the first time in the match against Leverkusen on the 18th May. The shirt has a white base colour with a blue collar, partly blue sleeve hems with white edges, and blue Adidas trademark stripes. The sponsor logo of Fly Emirates is red, while that of Adidas is blue. There is the text ’50 Jahre Bundesliga – Nur der HSV’ [translation: 50 Years Bundesliga – Only HSV] appearing on the cuffs.

    1. Bernie Balm:

I’ve always liked HSV’s kits. I got one from the club shop in 91 while we were raving down the Reeperbahn.

For some bizarre reason you had to buy the club badge separately. I got my ma to sow it on but she did it so it was tall instead of wide.

Anyway, this is a great kit. The contrast of the red sponsor with the blue trim is spot on.

Both shirts are simple and classic.

    2. BigT:

Bernie Balm your a legend! Raving down the Reeperbahn. Love it!! I also love the Hamburger home top but i dont have the same love for the away top. Nein!!

    3. aditoff:

Glad to see them back in blue. Why did they ever wear red?

    4. Sainty:

They’re alright I suppose for Hamburg’s other team.

      Sankt Pauli, Sankt Pauli.

    5. Connor:

Think both kits are lovely but think the away shirt looks more like a strip from 2003 rather than 2013.

    6. El Patriato:

the home kit is really great the away though not so sure but still ain’t that bad!!

    7. Shay:

The away shirt is actually a fake version.

    8. ROASTER:

Can you please put up the correct home shirt from the offical site??

    9. Bernie Balm:

Even better. Kind of like the shirt I had, but the trim was red and it was sponsored by Sharp.
