Nike SV Werder Bremen Shirt Launch Preview

After announcing that Werder Bremen will have their shirts manufactured by US-based sportswear megabrand Nike as from the 2009/10 season, they club has now issued a teaser showing a slight glimpse of the shirt as well as the date of official unveiling. Previously, Werder’s shirts were manufactured by Italian brand Kappa. The club has also unveiled its training range by Nike for the upcoming season. Werder won the DFB Cup in the 2008/09 season, so they qualify for the playoff round of the Europa League, despite ranking 10th in the 2008/09 Bundesliga table.

The shirt will be officially unveiled on the 2nd July in Bremen at 8pm. The dominant colours will be the traditional white and green, with white sleeves having green ends. We will keep you updated about further unofficial leaks and the official unveiling of the shirt next month.

    Don’t expect to get a look at the whole shirt, it’s a TEASER! But the only thing they’re doing is to show us the main colours, white and green, what a surprise..

    They just didn’t need to do this stuff at all..

    It won’t be like Arsenal’s kit because Bremen’s home is white and the sleeves are white :)
