Nike Arsenal Away Kit 13/14 Leaked

In what looks to be the last Arsenal away shirt made by Nike for a while, today we take a look at the new yellow away shirt for the Gunners 13/14 season.

We believe that the deal for adidas to take over the manufacturing contract at The Emirates Stadium has now been confirmed, with that set to start from the 14/15 season.

This leak shows a slightly darker blue in used on the shirt in this earlier leak, which was most likely a sample. There is also a redcurrant added on to the collar & cuffs, which whilst being predominately dark blue, have a yellow & redcurrant trim. What do you think?

    arsenal logo looks kinda cheap…

  2. Ryan F:

First of all, this is an Asian knock-off (you can tell by the badly-embroidered crest, and the presence of a label inside the collar).

Secondly, Arsenal’s “deal” with adidas is just a rumour at present, with no official word from either Arsenal themselves or adidas. This rumour appears to have been started by the Guardian newspaper, who ran a speculative piece a few months ago.

It’s entirely possible that Nike renew their deal with the Gunners, just as Emirates Airlines recently renewed their shirt sponsorship.

If anyone else has some concrete proof that adidas are really taking over in 2014, I’d love to see a link to a reputable news source confirming this.

  3. Marvin the Paranoid Android:

As an Arsenal fan, comparing this to the previous leak (and ignoring any is it real/fake speculation):

    1) YAY IT’S STILL YELLOW! :D
    2) Not so sure about the redcurrant, think it looked better with just blue trim.
    3) If I’m being very picky, I prefered royal blue to navy.

To summaraise; if either this or the previous leak turns out to be next season’s away kit, I’m a very happy bunny.

  5. No Name:

Looks so similar to Umbro’s Tottenham 1993 away shirt.

  6. rooney is soooo ugly:

dull boring effort with a horrible collar

  7. FOOTBALL SHIRTS NEWS ADMIN:

@Ryan F we have it from a reliable private source that the adidas deal has been agreed, it just isn’t public yet

  8. Cristian Todean:

Totally fake!!!!…the quality of the logo is no way to be accepted, the logo is not corect and anyway, as far as i know, arsenal will turn to adidas..

  9. Tumwesigye tim:

Collar too horrible, just put it away! May be for opponents to pull down arsenal players

  10. Craigers:

This is a fake but probably based on the real design. I have a friend who works in a sports shop who has seen designs of the real version and he described it like this but the collar and trim was royal blue. Probably will be marketed as a 10 year anniversary kit for the unbeaten team in 2003/2004 as the away kit then was yellow and royal blue.

  11. FOTHERINGHAM:

this is bound to be a training polo shirt you cant put buttonds on a shirt

  12. COYI:

I love how people always say it’s fake just because they don’t like the shirt.

  13. DA77EN:

COYI, it is fake mate, look at the stupid Arsenal crest and Dunb *** Nike tick LOL!

  14. FP14:

    so many lemons on here.
bet you 7 welsh groats that its not fake.
    great shirt.

  15. northernhorn:

I think it looks pretty classy, fake or not.

  16. D King:

Nothing particularly good, or bad about the shirt. It looks OK, but if you removed the Arsenal badge and Nike tick (sorry swoosh), it looks more Watford than Arsenal away to me.

Clubs should use the colours of their badge, or change the colour of their badge on the away shirt. As blue is Chelsea and white Spurs, maybe the shirt should be gold, or the badge changed

  17. Statto74i:

Fotheringham you complete melt, where is there a button visible? Clown!

  18. FOTHERINGHAM:

i dout the collar is being held up by gravity
there must be a button holding it together so thing before you speak

  19. Statto74:

    Fotheringham, you are an imbecile!

Or as we said in the 80′s ‘a massive Benny’

  20. Rob:

#3′s comments are spot on. This shirt is as good an attempt at an Arsenal away shirt as any since the 2004 season. It would be great if they lost the redcurrent & changed the navy to royal blue. I know it’s hard now we have the full crest on the shirt but I would love to see the cannon in blue like the seventies shirts (Chelsea seen to get away with changing the crest on their away shirts to match the colour scheme)

  21. journeyman79:

Fotheringham… Cant put buttons on a shirt?

Please do tell me then what those things around the collar are on the current England shirt, The World Cup 2010 England shirt, the Tranmere home shirt this season, (all of which I own) amongst many other shirts that have buttons!!!!

Or maybe i’m just imagining them?

  22. Matt Daug:

    Fotheringham… Seriously? Again?
