Newport County 2010/11 Home and Away
Newport County is a Conference National (fifth tier in the league system) club which was promoted to such division after winning the 2009/10 Conference South (sixth tier). The team is based in South Wales and plays home games at 4700-capacity Newport Stadium. Two popular nicknames of the club are the Exiles and the Ironsides. In 1980, the Exiles were Welsh Cup champions and reached the European Cup Winners’ Cup quarter-finals, but in 1989 went bankrupt. Back then, they were playing in the Conference National, which is the same division they will be playing in the 2010/11 season.
The new home and away shirts of the club, manufactured by Lotto and sponsored by Acorn, were unveiled. Midfielder Giuseppe Sole models the home shirt, while midfielder Tony Taggart models the away shirt. The home shirt is mainly orange with black details across the chest, and at the top and bottom of the back. The same template with the same details is used for the away shirt which has a white base colour and black details. The text Newport County AFC appears on the back of the neck in black.

Why are they wearing the shirt in jeans and not the shorts? Also, is Taggart holding an ice-cream cone?? lol pretty average shirts, hardly any design at all from Lotto
Hahaha. When you’re trying to raise the profile of a tiny, sh.itty club because you’ve been promoted from the blu-tak league southern secion tier 3 or something, put your players in full kit and let them finish eating their promotion ‘bonuses’ first!
Smart shirts, shame it’s an old template though.
Marlon, of course the good people of Newport should support a big glamous club like Manchester United. However I’ld rather support a losing side, than be a loser supporting a winning side from miles away.
Well said D King. Anyway I like this more than the shatty new Man Utd kit and this costs alot less I bet
oh man u duno how long iv waited for this
Look forward to playing you in the BSP. Nice kit.
The guy to the right has an ice cream cone in his hand
This looks like one of the worst kits I have seen of the 2010/11 season so far but yet again ill give brownie points back for the comedy ive cream cone in the hand
