Newcastle United Home shirt 09/10
Newcastle United have revealed their new home kit that the team will wear next season which is made by Adidas.
The home shirt is mainly Newcastle’s traditional home colours of Black and White stripes. The sleeves are also black and white stripes and the collar is white, with black piping around the end. The club badge is in the centre of the chest and the makers, Adidas, have their logo in the top-centre of the chest and have their three stripes running down the sleeves, both in white. The club sponsors have their name written across the middle of the shirt. The shirt will be worn with black shorts and black and white socks.
The home goalkeeper shirt is mainlt blue. There is black piping down the sides of the shirt. The club badge is in the centre of the chest and the makers, Adidas, have their logo in the top-centre of the chest in white and have their three stripes running down the sleeves in black. The club sponsors have their name written across the middle of the shirt. The shirt will be worn with blue shorts and socks.
The kit is available to pre-order from 22nd of April from the club website or store and is launched May 14th.

It’s a pretty good shirt, I like the collars that adidas are doing at the moment in particular. Newcastle can stay up quite easily if you look at the run in we have compared to Hull’s. And if we go down we’re taking Boro with us!
Really nice kit imo. Like it a lot more than our current kit anyway. Not sure we’ll get to wear it in the PL though

Nice shirt, but I don’t think it’s the best ever as someone else has said. For me the best Newcastle kit was the 1996 “grandad collar” Adidas one. The away kit was great too.
I agree with Augustus though – why are the British public still sponsoring them though?
Lovely shirt, a relief to have regular – sized stripes again. Adidas even brought back their classic 80’s wrap around collar for this one. Only blemish is the badge being in the middle. I heard Coloccini was supposed to model the new shirt but true to form, he accidently put on a Sunderland one instead.

Whether the kits is nice or not isnt really the point. Its about timing, if my team were in as much trouble as Newcastle I wouldnt want my players parading next years kit. They should be on the training pitch making sure the have premier league and not championship on the sleeves

Tbh that is a very nice kit and personally i hope Newcastle stay up and that small club boro’ go down. Although i dislike Newcastle and their deluded fans, they stick together and are a family club – full credit to them

this is a quality kit for a quality club . evan if we go down it could be a blessing in disguise and shearer can build the team up properly evan tho i doubt we will go down but we need to win all our home games i think COME ON THE TOON
I like the shirt, by the way the back of it is mostly white, it has a plain white bit for the name and numbers to go, similar to the black bit we have now.
I hope we can stay up though, not convinced, but it’s still possible.
