Newcastle United 2008/09 Third Kit

This is the Newcastle Third Kit, made by Adidas, for the coming season:

The silver kit, which has a similar colour to a kit worn during the 1980’s, is going to be used for the first time in the next Magpies match, a friendly against Valencia this Saturday (August 9th), and goes on sale on August 21th.

    Quite good. Newcastle can get away with silver due to their black & white stripes and club logo. This 3rd kit looks better than their new blue/purple away shirt.

    Newcastle needs some color. This is one shiny bore. Ya see that little pink square the sponsor uses as a period or whatever? Make a Newcastle shirt that color (sarcasm??).

    I think the most comfortable shirts to wear are Umbro.

    nice idea for a kit but it just doesn’t look good enough. it would’ve though if adidas hadn’t made it look like a training top we had 2 years ago…

    Nice shirt, the silver is refreshing. I agree, it could have been slightly less shiny. I can’t see the neckline working as well any other colour, hence the matching white stripes. Why would a struggling bank continue to sponsor a struggling football club says something about both their judgement.

    I’m a newcastle fan, and to be honest, this top is BOLLOCKS, along with the Purple one. Go back to last years 3rd kit, White with 2 Blue Stripes, was great, or The Gold Euro kit from a few years back, they were great.
