New Walsall Kits Previewed
Home Kit

Away Kit

Although the kits for the League One club are set to be launched in early July, the club has given its fans a taste of what the new kits will look like, through the team’s website. As can be seen from the exclusive images posted on the website, Walsall will be retaining white&red for their home kits next season. These two colours are traditional to the Saddlers and were re-introduced in the 2007/08 season. The shirt is mainly white, with red piping and red details on the sleeves and collar. On the bottom of the shirt, there are two badges: one with the text ‘1888-2008′ marking the 120 years’ history of Walsall FC, and the other badge showing that the shirt is an official merchandise product. Shirts are manufactured by Swift and will have mesh details to keep the players cool during matches. Shirts will be complimented by a red shorts with white details on the sides, and white socks.

In contrast with the home shirt, which will be following Walsall’s tradition, the away kit is exactly the opposite. Never have Walsall worn black for the away kits in their 120 year history. The shirt has red details at the end of the sleeves, on the chest, and at the bottom of the shirt. It also has a red collar. These give the shirt a very attractive look. Unlike the home shirt, the club crest is placed in the centre. The badges that appear on the home shirt are identical to those on the away kit. The shirt is complimented by two options of shorts. In normal circumstances, the shorts will also be black with red details on the left leg, and complimented by black socks. However, an alternative red shorts with black details on the left leg, and red socks, has been also been designed, and will be worn if required.
