New Wales 08/09 Home Shirt
Here is the new Welsh home shirt, manufactured by Kappa, gone is the large v-neck collar replaced by a much smaller but still white collar, that doesn’t quite meet at the front. The red home shirt is worn with red shorts and socks, the shorts have a white trim at the bottom of them.

The Wales home includes manufacturer’s Kappa logos on the sleeves by the shoulders on each arm and the Welsh FA badge on the left chest which leaves space for the player number on the right chest.

Dissapointing kit tbh. I was planning on buying this, but i don’t think i’ll bother having seen it. Maybe they should liven it up by adding some green trim.

It seems that Wales change their kit yearly. Do they? Extreme for a national side. I’m not keen on Kappa shirts. Nike, Adidas, Puma and Umbro are all nicer.

There is a lovely “watermark” of the welsh dragon on the kit that doesn’t show up at all in photographs that really makes the kit, it’s like a faint tattoo or something on the front of the shirt. It’s a sweet and simple kit, unlike the horrible new england away shirt that looks like an old USSR hockey uniform. Unfortunately no one seems to have it for sale, and JJB is supposedly making the kit this summer, which will probably look ***.
Most people dislike the wales kappa kits for the fact that the kits fit tight, and they are fat ********. I don’t have that problem.

it’s alright, but. i think 06/08 home shirts nicer bcos it is classic retro design (1958).. the 06/08 away kit has just grown on me i’m gonna buy it in the sales when the new away shirt drops this month.. wales got a long way to go, but without the small fanbase of passionate types we’d be nothing, like azerbaijan! so y’know.. you eng’ ***** can keep your facking overdue wembley sellout stadium and your facking italian coaches and all that cripe, as long as you love it, so do we.. init. cos we’re welsh like! and we’ve got our great rugby side to rep us on the worldwide level.. if we got to the final of the web ellis world cup we’d have won it, believe! x

Wales is going to make it to the World cup 2010 and be wearing those kits, im going to buy one because once the day comes all the Welsh fans will be talking about the kits!
