New Spurs Home or 125th Anniversary Shirt?
This is one of Tottenham Hot Spurs new shirts for the 2007-08 season, whether it is due to be the home shirt or the special 125th anniversary shirt that the club has talked about nobody knows. It shouldn’t even be showing on the club’s website but it is at the moment.
If you try and add it to your shopping basket then click on it, it returns to L/S Mens Home Shirt Season 2007/08 but it is listed as Mens S/S Home Shirt 07/08. The shirt is not a dramatic change from the 2006/07 kit, with just a v-neck collar in place and the 125 years written under the club badge on the left chest. Manufacturers Puma still have their logo on the right chest and club sponsors Mansion have their logo looking the same in the midle of the shirt.
125th Anniversary Tottenham Hot Spur Shirt
Details of the shirt say it is a 100% knitted polyester shirt with jacquard detail in the fabric. It has an embroidered cockerel and 125 years logo, plus embroidered Puma cat logo. You can pre order today for delivery when the kit launches on June 30th 2007.

This says it could be the home or the 125 shirt, so perhaps you have seen the other, is it definitely the home shirt. You got a link? There is one different one shown here, don’t know how official that one is though.

The shirt shown above is quality. It fits in with the 125 year history, looks similar to the double shirt of 1961. I don’t think the one with the blue flashes under the arms fits in with anything in particular from our past.
The only difference I notice is V cut..
What a joke if this is the new kit. Its hardly changed from the previous. 125 years branded by cockral is supose to distinguish it and draw people into to buy it? I’m sure the designers can be a bit more experimental than this.
If the new Spurs 125 year anniversary shirt is this all white affair with the v-neck, similar to this seasons, then fair play - looks good, sharp & clean and definitely hints back to the glory era of Blanchflower and Co….
I like the new kit, but think it should be a bit more retro and not have a v neck as a v is for girls and girls cant play footy
…apart from Drogba, who falls over like a girl.
Stop changing the Shirts just for the sake of it….. Ask the Fans what they want were the ones paying out season after season….. Oh Rock on Drogba…………
To the people complaining about it being “too simple” — it’s an anniversary kit, it’s supposed to be, you clods.
Look at Manchester United’s from the 2006-2007 season. That was based on the 50th anniversary of the Busby Babes, and it’s the simplest kit they’ve had in years (and the nicest).
I like this new Spurs one, all the fancy trimmings and **** on other football shirts tends to irritate me.
Simpler is better (this, United’s most recent one, the Dutch national team’s shirts from the last World Cup, etc).
i think it shud be like the really old 1! it was all white with a cockrell badge! and no sponsor! dat would be retro to the extreme!!
Top notch - the v-neck all-white shirt looks crisp & really smart, I wonder whether the socks will be white, navy, or a mixture of both like this seasons - I’d like to maybe see the badge centred, like the Le Coq Sportif design from ‘80-81….fingers crossed we’ll get to see Berbatov wearing it rather than United red or Chelsea blue.

I like the look of it really. It is supposed to have a classic look to it. Still trying to get my hands on the Europe kit from this year it is proving to be very elusive!
The blue and white shirt shown in the link above is ruddy lovely, does anyone know if this is our away or 3rd ?!
I have read it is going to be a 4th shirt, to be worn on or around the date of the 125th Anniversary…..the blue & white looks great, can’t wait to see the other kits….
