New shirt suppliers for Leicester City in 2007/08

The deal which saw JJB Sports supply Leicester City with match day kit has come to an end. After consulting with fans and looking to mark a new chapter in the club’s history the 2007/08 shirts will be made by another sportswear company.

The Foxes have said that the new shirts will last for both the 2007/08 and 20078/09 seasons and will be changed in a two year cycle.

Ben Swift retail manager at Leicester City said:

“With a new chairman and a new chapter in the club’s history on the horizon, we felt it would be appropriate to change direction and revert to a two-year cycle.”

JJB Sponsorship Director, Steve Marsters said:

“We wish Leicester City well with their new technical kit supplier.”

Rumours are that either Jako or Vanadel could be the next suppliers lined up.

    I really hope it is not Vandanel. Their kits look really outdated and flimsy.

    I have seen it mandaric was holding it up with allen. I cant save the pic but its sponsered by jako and its not alliance and leicester no more aswell.

    Obviously Milan Mandaric liked the design when he was chairman at Portsmouth, because the Leicester City shirt is virually the same as Portsmouth’s 05-07 home shirt. Apart from the badge etc.
