New Schalke 04 Home Shirt 2008/10
This will be the new Schalke 04 home shirt for next two seasons.

Schalke players were extremely pleased with the design of the new shirt that they will be wearing in the next two campaigns. Marcelo Bordon likes the stylish design, goalkeeper Manuel Neuer was thrilled by the form of the shirt and Kevin Kuranyi does not want to take the shirt off!

The shirt features a large number of technical innovations but the primary aim of the shirt is to show the Passion in Royal Blue. The Adidas-manufactured shirt has a blue base colour, the traditional colour of Schalke 04. The three stripes are white and do not extend until the end of the sleeve. The sides of the shirt are white, extending to the underarm. The collar is round-neck, partly blue and partly white. For the first time, there is written FC Schalke on the front part (white part) of the neck. On the inside of the shirt, there is written EIN LEBEN LANG, BLAU UND WEISS EIN LEBEN LANG, meaning A Life Long, Blue and White a Life Long. It is a beautiful shirt that makes all Schalke 04 fans proud.

The shirt is out at the official shop and on the Internet as from the 9th May, and will be used for the first time by the team on the 10th May for the match against Eintracht Frankfurt. From 9 am till 10 pm on Friday, the club will be organising a special programme whereby the buyers of the new home shirt will benefit from a special offer: a free exclusive Schalke 04 scarf with every purchase. This offer will be on until stocks last, and is available from the club shop as well as the online official shop.

Ah what an amazing shirt. I love it.
at schalke 04, we have always had the same traditional numbers for years, and our supporters like them, we don’t work to impress you, david. does your club work hard making a kit to be critisized by someone who can’t name one of their players? no.
