New Retro Club American Shirt for 2009
Club de Futbol America, also known as Club America or simply America was formed in 1916, they play their home games in the Estadio Azteca a 114,000 seater stadium that they share with Necaxa in Mexico City.
The club has won 10 national titles and 6 international titles second behind bitter rivals Chivas.

Club America’s third shirt for the 2008/09 season has been designed by Nike and is blue and white in colour. The shirt features a V-shaped design with the neck, chest area and sleeve ends appearing in blue with the sleeves appearing in white. The shirt veers into a V-shape below the chest and finishes with red lining from arm pits to the base of the V with the remainder of the shirt appearing in white. The club and shirt-maker logo’s appear in their traditional positions along with the two shirt sponsors.
The shirt has been designed on Club America’s shirt from the 1980s(below) and is going to be used for the Interliga tournament in January.

Can’t stand this club but decent looking shirt. We should be grateful that a mexican shirt has “only” 2 sponsors. Still can’t take a league seriously that has an apertura and a clausura. It’s annoying having 2 champions per year.
