New Real Madrid Home Shirt

Posted on June 19th, 2009 in Real Madrid by zebra10

Real Madrid’s new home shirt was officially available for general sale today and it was a succesful launch. Many fans are deemed to have flocked to the club shops to purchase the new home kit which will bear the names of world-class players such as Kaka, Ronaldo and probably David Villa. Even if the Villa transfer doesn’t go on, the club will still be able to generate incredible huge amounts of shirt sales from the names of such players.

“People are delighted,” says Ana Alonso, manager of all Adidas stores in the Spanish capital, “Fans have been asking about the release date for weeks. The goalkeeper’s shirt is also very popular. People love it.”

The club’s new home shirt is the traditional Real Madrid white shirt manufactured by adidas featuring the 3-stripes in black on the shoulders. The shirt has a special stadium crest printed on the top right part of the chest with the club crest being placed in the usual place on the opposite left.  Online sports betting company bwin have their logo placed in the center of the shirt.

Have I seen that before? Oh yes, the last 100 years’ home shirts have been the same!
    Still nice though :)

Decent effort. And if you’re naive to believe Perez’s nonsense that selling enough of these globs of polyester will pay the £140,0000 plus the close to £400,000 a week in wages for those two players, then it’s a start

Another new shirt….well someone has to pay Ronaldo’s & Kaka’s wages. You can buy Kaka & Ronaldo but everyone knows Barca are the best. & if you’re going to buy two world class players Perez you should check out Xavi & Iniesta.

Real Madrid, legendary club and whatever but this shirt is horribly plain.. It just doesn’t have anything on it!! I could buy england’s new kit and paint the stripes on it.. I even like england’s kit better than this one..

Too samey for me. It is a bit plain too, but that’s not my main concern. Surely almost no one with this season’s shirt will buy the new one?

If you are a Real Madrid fan (I pity you) and you should just trim the color off last years shirt and you have one ‘brand new’ shirt
