New Portsmouth home shirt 2008-?
The new Portsmouth home shirt for next season will carry a new look badge commemorating 110 years of the club. The new badge has a new shield and the text ‘Portsmouth FC’ appears above the star, where before it appeared below.
The shirt itself is again made by Rugby Union specialists ‘Canterbury’ and sponsored by ‘Oki Printing Solutions’.
It is royal blue with gold piping down either side and also on the sleeves. It is collarless and carries the designers emblem on either sleeve just above where the Premier League patches will reside. The club badge is centrally positioned and sandwiched in-between kit supplier and sponsor’s logo’s.
i mean i get one as normal as my g/f loves me so much she will let me have one
this top looks great, the badge looks a lot better seeing it in real life

Not a bad lookin kit for the skates! Bit too much gold though! Up the saints!
Sleeve badges are too big and spoil the shirt. Lotto and Kappa are just as bad for this.

Are Canterbury shirts tight fitting or are they true to size?
Impressive looking kit. I would say, that particular shirt is true to size tim. Doesnt look tight fitting to be honest.

Its alright but their away kit is much nice, i think though canterbury should stick to rugby
I think the rugby designers would be brill at making kits, most rugby shirts are nicer than footy shirts to be fair. Wouldnt mind seeing underarmour design a kit, that would be quite interesting.

this shirt looks great! i have to say i am pleasantly surprised by Canterbury’s football kits: stylish and modern but not designer-gone-to-hollywood-style. cool
portsmouth always have the best shirts. i thought the new badge looked dreadful at first but it looks a lot better on the shirt.
Cool kit. Just a bit too gold. At least the canterbury and OKI logo should be white.

If you look carefully at the shirt, you can see the back of the shirt too. See where the stripe begins at the back? It goes up and splits off into 2 “tails” further up. You can it like a vein on the shirt under the OKI logo.

This is the best looking home kit Portsmouth ever had I think it looks like this because they won the Fa cup recently.

Too much gold. I agree Gary but our original colours were salmon pink! The red socks came in in 1947 - before that we wore black socks. Apparently we’re wearing blue shorts and blue socks next season - shame.
too much gold - the powers that be are pushing this bling ting & the plan is to ease out our beloved red socks - royal blue shorts / royal & gold socks coming soon!! aaarrrgghhh!

It’s not terrible, but it’s a little bit too busy with the designs down the side.
Lovely kit, the 110 years is because we simply didnt have enough money to do anything for the 100 years
and also the all blue is only for one season, then its blue white and red again

nice kit but if only for one season that means paying out more next season for the white shorts and red socks come on pompey how much more money you gonna bleed from us
i really like this kit. i dont know why people are moaning about not being in our normal colours so what its for one year get over it. its more important that the club does well not the colours!
Not a bad looking shirt for an average team
i like it, too much gold, but might look right on tv when it does together with the shorts and socks, like the all blue thing, had it for 92 semi and the semi and final this time, the 110 years is how long we have been in existance btw

Matt it is black again, i just bought the new away kit, i loved it as soon as i saw it at fulham game, i like the gold and blue, not our usual colours but still nice, and why have canterbury gone and put the logo in the middle?? been tradition to have it on the heart for a long time. Quality kits this season though
