The new Portsmouth goalkeeper shirt for the 2008/09 season is mainly blue with black details on the shoulders, back side and on the sleeves and also black borders. The same as player’s shirts, it has manufacturer’s logo on the right side of the chest and on the both sleeves, club’s crest on the left side and main sponsor’s logo in the center of the chest.
No, I just don’t get it. When will the Portsmouth goalie wear that?
At home when the team are wearing blue or away when the opposition are wearing blue?
Does seem stupid to have the goalie have the same colour as the home kit??? and as flicktokick said when they wear their away shirt its more than lickly the oppisit team will be wearing blue??? pointless!!!!!
unless their home shirt is going to be a much darker shade of blue? or not blue at all??

Not a bad top solely based on the design of it… It’s got to be an away goalie kit. I could do without the different blue shade right above the sponsor logo.

From that image it looks like it’s made out of a weird material. possibly fleecy? nice shirt tho.

as does the away kit. i think the new crest is brill,although a lot of people don’t like it,i think it really suits the new strips.looking forward to seeing the home kit,does anyone know when we might get to see it??
i just gotta say that i think now that pompey are up in the top 6-8 teams in the prem they can do a lot better than cruddy makes like canterbury who no one have ever heard of!!

the new goalie kit is the best i think its better than the old away kit so it is the best and the colour is great no one can say its horrid
I like both the away and home kit for paul James,but what I don’t understand is why I can’t order the entire kit…. The website only lets me order the Jersey.
