New Morecambe Sponsor

Morecambe FC who currently play in English League Two have announced new shirt sponsors for the 2008/09 season. Their new sponsor will be mopey.co.uk which is a Lancaster-based mobile phone recycling company which has been in operation since 2005. Chris Rogerson, mopay.co.uk Marketing Manager said:

“We are delighted to be supporting the Shrimps next season. As well as developing the brand we are a company that is keen to forge greater links with the local community and this is a fantastic way for us to do that.”

Whilst the Morecambe chief executive had this to say about the deal:

“We are really happy to have a well established, young, local company, like mopey.co.uk involved and we are sure it will be a very rewarding partnership which will help both parties go from strength to strength.”
