New Middlesbrough Home Shirt
This is the new Middlesbrough Home Shirt that the team would be wearing as from this season’s last match against Manchester City at home.

The shirt is red with an iconic white chestband featuring the club’s sponsor Garmin. Shirt Sponsor Errea has its logo on the top-right of the shirt while the club crest is on the left. As said from the club’s website, the shirt will go on sale from tomorrow, May 8, exclusively to season card holders.

The new shirt style was chosen by Boro supporters who took part in a shirt poll.

My regular ***** will love me in this new shirt!
Oh golly! The white band will clash with my Dorothy Perkins hand bag and Primark Lycra trousers.
If Jesus was alive he’d wear a Boro shirt, I know that the All Mighty Lord does. Amen.
They could have got some relatively attractive people. Doesn’t really do much to show that not every Northerner is ugly and obese, does it?
Anyone else think the white bit looks like a bib? There must be a dribbling pun in there somewhere…
Errea have produced some of the worst kits in the history of Christendom and this is another. Another nod to the seventies without the courage to carry it through.
Boro shirts should have always have the white band, as it sets them apart from MUF Club, Forest, Bristol City, however it doesn’t look right. Maybe the band, allowing for the Garmin triangle is too broad.
I didn’t vote this template..
I like bums.
Maybe the new white stripe will make me look 20 stone instead of 30.
Time for a parmo all this typing business makes me hungry.
When was the last time Middlesbrough kept a home shirt for 2 full seasons? People go on about United changing their shirts every season, but Boro are probably the worst for doing it. It’s their fans I feel sorry for having to shell out every single year.
i bet boro dont sell as many shirts as utd do though. it makes financial sense for a small club like boro to do so nor are boro fans “forced” to shell out every year, they buy it through choice. and man utd dont change their strip every season
Middlesbrough always have rubbish boring kits, and this is the same. But then again Middlesbrough are a nothing club, so the kit goes with the club hand in hand!!
And Geoff is a rubbish boring name which goes with the above poster hand in hand!!.
wazzock, why get personal mate. I’m only saying how it is and what most others think!! Middlesbrough isn’t exactly a big club or even a big draw to watch.
They are a nothing team, that just plod along doing nothing year after year. I doubt they would ever be missed if they got relegated!!
Just like every other club outside of the top 4 then Geoff.
No they are not like the rest of the clubs outside the top 4 Tyler.
The other teams have something about them, Everton, Aston Villa, Man City, Spurs, West Ham, Newcastle, Portsmouth… shall i go on!!
Al those clubs are better to watch than Middlesbrough, plus they would all be a big miss to the Premier League. Middlesbrough wouldn’t!
I agree with “sums” in the history of the premier league Middlesbrough have always changed both home and away shirts every season as opposed to Man Utd who keep thier home shirt for 2 seasons (discounting thier first AIG home shirt) and only change thier away kit on a yearly basis, as a Boro fan i have to say this shirt is horrible, it looks like all of the recent home one’s with the band across, and to agree with another point made about errea, the shirts do look cheap, and are not worth the £40 Middlesbrough fans pay per shirt per year!!!!
West Ham?? The team going for the Curbishley template of most boring team in Britain? Glad to see the band back but i’m still not too sure… Lets hope they go for the old black and blue away effort.
I like this years shirt because of the stripe. I did liked last years but i think it lacked the final touch, THE STRIPE. So i think we could of kept the same kit two years in a row if errea new what the fans wanted!
worst borough kit 4 ages
Geoff must be a Portsmouth fan to have listed them as one of the “teams with something about them”.
Pompey are even more of a nothing club than Boro but are currently going through a decent patch. That’s all.
The big four fans want Boro to go down because Boro always has the audacity to take points off of them each season!
As for the kit, I am glad that the band is back. The band distinguishes the kit from so many other clubs (Bristol City, Notts Forest, Barnsley, etc.), however I don’t like the white lines that connect the band to the collar. Like someone else said it makes it look like they are wearing a bib. The kit from the season that they went to the UEFA Cup final was ace!
Geoff is talking rubbish boro reached the Uefa Cup final a few seasons ago and won the Carling Cup also. We dont just plod on we’ve got a new manager and we are in a transitional stage Boro are a premier league team!
whats daniel on about boro are awful 2 watch so boring and players bottle it against any1 excpet the big 4
As a Gunners fan I’d have to admit that Boro are a tough side, even if they don’t always play pretty football.
Anyway, decent kit, good to have the stripe back, because it separates Boro from the other teams that wear red.
**** man u best top ever
