New Manchester United Away Kit 07/08
Here is a sneak preview of the new Man United away shirt for 2007/08. It has long been rumoured that the shirt would be black and this kit looks a lot like expected by fans.
2007/08 Man Utd Black Away Shirt
The black shirt has no collar but the area is trimmed with red as are the end of the sleeves, manufacturer’s Nike’s swoosh logo on the right chest is in white as is shirt sponsor’s AIG’s logo in the middle of the kit. The Manchester United club badge is as usual on the left chest.
There is a white ‘red devil’ symbol at the back of the neck, which will not be visible when worn, expect that this shirt will also have a white stripe down the back as the 2007/08 Man Utd home shirt does, in recognition of their Premier League title last season.

Arghhh! “Will also have the white stripe down the back”! The stripe is the worst thing about the home kit – it looks really cheap and tacky. A mod of last season’s training shirt would have been better. Way to ruin a good shirt, Nike.

Think i prefer the one with the red line down the middle of the shirt rather than the plain white one…Other shirt on that clip looks quality and miles better than that black piece of **** on here which is by miles a fake!

The United crest and the Nike swoosh are too close to the AIG logo. That’s not the case with the home shirt.
gud point shirtwasher, the nike swoosh and the logo r just tooo close to the AIG logo… which is another reason y i feel its fake…

THIS SHIRT IS A FAKE, I downloaded the picture and you can clearly see around the AIG logo, the Nike tick and the Utd badge some fuzziness which shows they are pictures placed onto the shirt

A few weeks ago I read a post from someone who claimed to have seen the black away shirt (on a sports shop order form). According to him the shirt has approx. the same design as Van der Sar’s new blue shirt, but black instead of blue, with a red stripe (instead of white)
with red stripe I don’t mean the one on the back, but the lines around the collar/shoulder
that black one is the old kit , been photoshopped. i like the fake kits on bebo with the red strip! united did wear their old white shirt in seoul which is strange as i thought they would wana market it out there!

we do have a third kit, it is the white away one from last season as the kit lasts for 2 seasons, this being the second. Also manutd store as still selling the white top with the new lettering, so it is definetly for next season, so thats what we will wear wen we play someone like ac milan. The reason why man u played in the white top is because the home side were red and the this black top hasn’t been marketed yet so they cant play in that.

Nike really have solme work to do, every single kit tehy have produced this year is indesighned and boring, look at adidass kits or the unbro shirts even they have more detail that any Nike kit, drop nike the ****** sponsor because both shirts they have made for united are an EMBARASEMENT

Hi all, I visited the megastore the other day and the staff said that the new black utd shirt will be the new away one which will be out on august 31st. The white kit will be moved to the third kit.
I guess they will launch it at the end of July then
July 1st they launched the Utd home kit.. which will be available Aug 1st..
they give fans a month lol

i think mikey b’s picture is correct as it has the same ‘the red devils’ at the bottom, and if you look at the red 1 closely you will see that it stitched the same around the neck its hard to see because its red thread on a red materiel but it is the same

Mike 857 has it correct! Just watched them beat Doncaster on MUTV… 2-0 to United, Anderson played, and they wore Mike 857’s strip! Looks great. That said, the pic you have here seems to have a slightly thicker red stripe around the shoulders. Imagine a red stripe the same thickness as the gold stripe on Mikey B’s picture and you’ll have it pretty much… red stripe doen the back, with the red devil logo in white at the top.

The One on the top of the page is fake…..The AIG is way to close to the man utd badge and the nike swoosh but the one that Mike857 posted is the official one cuz they played in it aggainst Doncaster…..In my opinion its nicer than the home one…the home one is way to plain…..

This is the new away shirt, although apparently there is a new 3rd strip due to be released too so this may be the 3rd. We played in this kit in the pre season friendly against Doncaster. The shirt is by far the best away strip in England

3rd kit i last seasons white away kit, NO NEW 3RD KIT. It’s exactly the same, just as the blue one was last year (with the exception of sponsor change of course).
Goalie kit on sale from 8th september, that date keeps changing though.
Its BLUE, just in case you feel the need to debate that, too.
