New England Away Shirt 2008/10
The brand new England away shirt will be revealed on February 4th 2008 and officially launched on the 5th ahead of England’s games against Switzerland on February 6th at Wembley and away to France on March 26th.
2008 England Away Kit
The shirt is being released by manufacturer’s Umbro with the tag line “more than just a football shirt - bring it on”. Not much can be learned from this early publicity shot of the kit, but looking closely you can spot a few details. The new England away shirt will be available to pre-order from Monday 14th January 2008.

the current home design is not loved by most fans + poor results = massive stock of ordered shirts which will never sell anyomore ?

JJB have ordered a few kits which probably means that they’ll over price them!

appearently it’s now released on 12.03.2008 around 2 weeks before the france game. not sure if they will wear it for the swiss game now.
no that won’t be true cos it’s bin confirmed that England will wear it against the Swiss at Wembley

The pictures advertising the shirt have changed to say out the 12 March 2008.

the new england shirt look just like a normal going out football shirt with and england badge on it .
the more i look at it the more i like it but it looks more like a wales kit nothing like and traditional england kit .

i think nike should make the england kits from now on. umbro are terrible.
Real shame, kits always have such promiss with something a bit different, but england never have that. scrap umbro, been poor for years, its like they ran of designs in the 90s

England and Umbro totally goes together…for so long. This shirt is a bit busy in the middle with the numbering,why not just put the badge under the star and the number on the other side? Anyway like the blue part in it
The shirt Michael Owen is wearing in todays Sun looks very much like the old Admiral England away shirt.
I bet Forest, Everton, West Ham, Sunderland, Wigan, Hull, Birmingham, Blackburn, West Brom, Lincoln, Morecombe, Rangers and Hearts fans are now colouring the panels on this kit in in different colours to work out what their clubs shirts will look like for next season

I guess Adidas are as bad as Umbro for just using a template. The clubs I listed all wear Umbro this season. At least the away kits for Umbro are easy, they will all no doubt be white.

What?? had not heard about it until i saw it on the pitch its awful looks like training shirt. Terrible design, prefered the old one!! STILL GETTING IT THOUGH!!!
