New Blackburn 2008/09 Away Shirt

Blackburn Away kit

This is the new Blackburn Rovers away kit, with new sponsor Crown Paints. The kit is the second season of the Rovers kit being made by Umbro.

New manager Paul Ince will be hoping to have the likes of David Bentley and Roque Santa Cruz wearing the kit next season,

The away kit will be released on 12th July, incoporating the opening of the new Rovers clubshop (since it’s handover back from Sportsworld International).

The Home shirt will be released in August ahead of the new Premiership campaign.

    Very nice stylish away shirt, home would look 10 times better with crown paints in red or gold or silver and get rid of the box.

    Home is terrible, only because of the poor sponsor placement… give that logo some breathing room around the sides!

    Now they will probably have last season’s away (red & black) as a third kit, nice away kit though.

    the home kit with paul ince isntt the official home shirt, the home kit is the same as last year with the crown paints sign just being letters with no box around it, it still dosnt look right, and im really not a fan of the away shirt, i think the yellow one was the best option!

    Lovely, lovely away shirt. Always liked that Lyon design and the colour scheme looks great. Even the sponsor logo looks lovely.

    But the home kit???!!! Why not integrate the logo? That grey box clashes with the whole kit and makes it look awful. How can a Premier League club sanction a kit that awful looking. Shame because Blackburn’s home kit is normally one of my favourites.

    I Like the away kit, as long as the sponsor doesn’t peel off the front like so many of the past kits.

    Away shirt looks well nice - just like chelsea’s away shirt from about 4 years ago, crown paint looks poor on the home shirt.

    home kit is great, its proper old skool. Expected tbh, coz paul is old skool. It looks well smart. Idont like the away kit, looks more like a tshirt, but ill end p liking it.

    When will rovers get rid of the box around the sponsor’s logo… Mcewans larger box around the logo Time same again AMD same again Crowns paint and its always been that ****** material that comes off in the wash **** the kit its awfull

    first time posting. I think both kits are pretty good looking. This years umbro designs are miles ahead of last years. of course the sponsor looks really bad on the home kit. Maybe we look on the bright side and hope the sponsor peels off after washing. Plus, blue away kit? There just begging for a third. last years away anyone?

    Nice simple shirt - except for the sponsor - was the black background necessary I will have to get used to crown paint’s new logo. I am so used the liverpool era one.

    even though i don’t support blackburn the away kit is awesome and the rangers third kit is a rip off because it looks like Blackburns away kit.
