New Birmingham 08/09 Away Shirt
Birmingham City will release their new away shirt tomorrow, but here is a sneak preview, of a kit which steals a lot from Ajax’s style, but could be popular with fans.
The Midlands club, who suffered a hammer blow to their Premier League survival hopes on Saturday losing to drop rivals Fulham 2-0 at Craven Cottage, have released this preview of the new away kit:
The shirt is just like this season’s Blues home shirt except the blue parts are white and the white part is red, in what is known as the penguin style. From the day of the final game of the season against Blackburn Rovers it will be available to for City fans to get their hands on.
They having same or similar home kit to this season?

Nice. If only they played like Ajax… Birmingham should always play with that “penguin” design. I know it only harks back to the seventies but it’s a great look.
looks like an Ajax kit, it;s smart, but i think it’s destined for the Championship which is a shame.

I think it’s a really smart kit. Not sure what’s going on with the collar or the material of the shorts, but it looks good.
Shame neither Larsson or McFadden will be wearing it next season :’(

Similar to the away kit from 71-72 and 99-00, looks superb to me
It looks a excellent kit but instead of having numbers on them the players should have 1 letter replacing the number so when the players stand next to each other it spells out sack the board

Looks like an old Coventry city away shirt, almost the same design. a few years back now.
Y can’t anyone have there own design instead of taking ideas from other clubs.
