New Barcelona Away Shirt 2008/09
Here is a preview of Barca’s new away kit for next season in La Liga. soccergaming user eradicator has a first look at the Catalan giants away strip.
08/09 Barca Kit
The Nike made kit is a bright yellow colour with a maroon and blue stripe running down the left hand side of the shirt, behind the club badge and disappearing as it passes under the unicef sponsor logo.
Very similar to the away shirt they had in the mid eighties. Don’t like the way they have made the sponsor an integral part of the design.

I think the same as “il grande torino”. But I prefer the blaugrana lines in diagonal like in 1983.

They could’ve put “Unicef” on the sleeves like the new Boca Juniors shirt.
Unicef is not a sponsor you idiot, it’s for charity purposes to help others.

Boca Juniors’s shirt manages to show their sponsor - MEGATONE - on the front and Unicef’s logo on both sleeves.
I think it’s great that Barcelona resist showing a company sponsor.
Looks like the USA 06-08 Home shirt, but with a sponsor and yellow instead of white…

dat kit looks alrite but it would look better if da unicef logo was on the sides and if it had like the barcelona colours going down the bak not all da way but like the man utd one coz dat looks hektik and well be unbeatable in it like 05

It ain’t real. I really think it’s not. As several people have pointed out before me, it’s the old Nike design and for 08/09 they’ll certainly be going for something new. Could be, however, the real colour of the new away shirt, maybe even the blaugrana stripe, but the whole shirt is just not what it’ll be.

The kit will be released along with the home kit on JUly 1st. This is the away kit as it has also been published in a local magazine Sport.
