New Airdrie United 07/08 Shirts

Airdrie Utd 2007/08 KitsA new sponsorship deal has been announced between Scottish Football League Championship Second Division side Airdrie United and the local regeneration initiative, known as the ARP (Airdrie Regeneration Partnership). This means that for the next five years ARP will appear on the front of the club’s kit as shit sponsors.

07/08 Kit Launch

Aidries 2007/08 kit launch saw the shirts delivered to the club’s Excelsior Stadium by helicopter. Fans will see the team wear the 07/08 kit for their first competitive home fixture against Raith Rovers on Saturday 4th of August.

Airdrie United’d Diamond Shirts

Airdrieonians went bankrupt in 2002, Gretna took their place in the Scottish football league, but a group of local fans & businessmen formed Airdrie United by buying out Clydebank and then changing their names and kits. Airdrie United’s distinctive playing colours are a home shirt of a white top with a red diamond, inherited from Airdrieonians. The club are nicknamed the diamonds just as their predecssors. The shirts are manufactued by Diadora.
