Variation of colours seems to be a German thing, I can recollect Bayern Munich wearing Navy blue with a red chest band, red with white sleeves, blue and red stripes and the traditional all red. Saying that Coventry’s have had a varied range of kits (all containing sky blue), Aston Villa’s sky blue sleeves often go missing, Arsenal recently wore claret (sorry redcurrent), and Tottenham recently had blue sleeves.
