Nantes Home & Away shirts 09/10

French side FC Nantes have revealed their new home and away shirts which will be worn by the team for the 09/10 ligue 1 season. The kits are made by Kappa.

The home shirt is made of Nantes’ traditional colours of Green and Yellow. The shirt is mostly made of Green and Yellow stripes. The collar and ends of the sleeves are yellow. The club badge is on the left of the shirt and the makers have their logo in the top centre of the chest and on the sleeves. The club sponsor has their name written across the middle of the shirt in red.

TheĀ  Away shirt is mainly Blue. There is a white and yellow diagonal stripe running from the top right, to the bottom left of the shirt. The collar and ends of the sleeves are yellow. The club badge is on the left of the shirt and the makers have their logo in the top centre of the chest and on the sleeves. The club sponsor has their name written across the middle of the shirt.

    By French standard aesthetics (splashy bright colours, over-sized sponsors etc) – they are actually quite nice. Nice to again finally see a Kappa shirt without an over-sized logo – oh, the irony.

    Nice kits, particularly the away kit. Also, good to see a company like Kappa not simply slap a “boxed sponsor” on the front. Amazing how big companies like Nike and Puma find that difficult for some of their kits.
