Middlesbrough Away shirt?

Posted on June 8th, 2008 in Middlesbrough by Ben1991

earlier, Boro released an article on its website about the success of their reduced season ticket prices. However, in it, there is a picture of Boro player David Wheater holding some cards whilst wearing what could be the possible Boro away shirt for next season.

The shirt is primarily white and is exactly the same as the current away shirt except there is black and red lines down the right side of the shirt and a black and red collar instead of gold and black from the current away shirt. The club’s badge is on the centre of the shirt, instead of the right side on the current shirt, and the makers logo, Errea, is above the club’s badge. The club’s sponsor, Garmin, have their name across the centre of the shirt.

It is unknown if this is the away shirt that the club will be wearing for next season as it is so simillar to the club’s current away shirt.

Errea is shite. Boro should drop them and get a proper kit sponsor. Errea has proven themselves time and again as shite makers. I cannot remember one good kit they ever made for us.

    That’s just a training top.

Apparently we’ve gone back to the fans favourite of blue and black stripes…

Agree entirely Bob. Year after year of poorly designed, cheap looking shirts from Errea. They need to go and soon.

Boro’: Red shirts with white chest band, red shorts, white socks. Simple and classic. Accept no substitute.

need a make like adidas cos errea are cheap italian manufacturers after all we are a established premiere league team not a conference side all tho at times we play like one

the picture of wheater is not a fake as it is on the boro website - although it may not be next seasons shirt. id be really happy with the blue n black stripe kit - thats what it should be, we always do **** in white away kits

The kit above is apparently already on sale in the clubshop as a training shirt.

The away shirt is supposed to be blue and black stripes.

  13. GEE said,

its clearly an old top which has been edited on paint or something, the colour on the left shoulder doesnt even colour the white patches, awful fake

  14. toothy said,

    to GEE

its not fake, i was in the club shop today and it is one of three training shirts, the others being red and black.

so think about it before you say its a fake!
