Middlesbrough Away kit 08/09
Middlesbrough have revealed their new away kit that the team will wear next season which is made by errea,
the new shirt sees a return of the Blue and Black vertical stripes that were so popular with the club’s supporters in the early 1970s. The sleeves are all blue and there is a round blue collar. The club badge is on the left of the shirt and the makers, Errea, have their logo on the right of the shirt in white. The club sponsors, Garmin, have thier name written across the middle of the shirt also in white. The shirt will be worn with black shorts and socks.
The kit will be available to season card holders only from both MFC Retail stores between 9am and 9pm on July 24 and from 9.30am to 5pm on Friday July 25 and will be available on general sale from both stores between 9.30am and 5pm on Saturday July 26 and between 10am and 3pm on Sunday July 27.

The shirt is a classic among Boro fans as it was used during the 70’s heyday which also saw the introduction of the familiar white band.
It’s no different from Man City going back to their red and black this season or Man United going for the retro blue away third shirt - it’s all history.

Yes that was a good 5 years ago now and we have faded dramatically and are sigining a “superhero” and danny guthrie which in my opinion is not ideal but acceptable. To Pompey fans yes you won the FA cup and congratulations but you did it against cardiff and made it look difficult. To Spurs fans yes we have beat you the last half a dozen times thats not our fault its yours.
