Melbourne Heart FC Home Shirt 2010/11

Melbourne Heart was founded in 2008 and will be a new club to participate in the top Australian football league, the A-League, as from the 2010/11 season. The club is nicknamed Heart and is presently negotiating for a stadium to play their home games, with the most likely being 31500-capacity Melbourne Rectangular Stadium. A sponsorship agreement was reached on the 16th February whereby Westpac Banking Corporation became the club’s first shirt sponsor.

The shirts of Melbourne Heart will be manufactured by Reebok and the club’s new home shirt has been unveiled, with no details yet regarding the away shirt. The shirt has a round collar which is partly red and partly white, with the rest of the shirt being vertically striped in red and white. The sleeves will also be striped. The logo of Reebok is black and centralised just below the collar, while the logo of the sponsor is placed on a white background. The shirt was unveiled in the same ceremony as the unveiling of new signing John Aloisi who is an Australian international and an ex-Coventry player.
