GKA, as tim said, children (probably grandchildren too) and relatives, of the deceased are still around, although the thought of donating the money to manchester childrens hospital is good, why not give to to families of the love ones, who’s relatives died, as that is who’s deaths toff’s are making money from……..

And as for your comment of “it was 1958 for christ sake” show some respect

It was 1958 for Christs sake, what relatives are left? It took 40 years for the club to get round to do a benefit match of which £80,000 went to ‘Eric’

Where do these parasites get off with their get rich quick antics every time United are in town, and why don’t they donate all proceeds not £10 to the families who lost loved ones in the disaster?

I wonder if TOFFS have permission from United for this. After all, the logos are trademarks of MCC rather than MUFC so they might not have asked and I doubt whether it would have been given (not enough profit in it to even tempt the Glazers after all) as the club maintains that the anniversary isn’t treated as a commercial opportunity. As a United supporter, I feel that the Munich disaster should be paid proper respect by not commercialising it at all - No AIG logo on the player’s picture, no commemorative shirts and scarves, however small the run is.
