Mansion look to Terminate Deal Early
Tottenham’s shirt sponsorship deal with Mansion is also on the verge of collapsing as the online gaming company wants to pull out of the deal. The deal is suppose to end in 2010 but Mansion are ready to offer a one-off compensation of £2m to end the deal. Their current sponsorship agreement was seeing Tottenham receiving £8.5m a year and thus Tottenham are evaluating the decision whether to accept the compensation and risk trying to find another sponsor or try to ask Mansion to reconsider.
Rumours circulating are saying that Tottenham could copy Arsenal in terms that it would be looking to offer an all-inclusive deal which would include shirt sponsorship and stadium naming rights. Both Spurs and Mansion have declined to comment though.

Yes no more red on our shirt
at first i thought, yes i hope so, get rid of that awful big M, no more red on our shirt, but i was thinking about the stadium naming rights and you know, the Mansion stadium sounds a lot better than, say Pizza Hut Park or something. The dosh was handy too. My feelings are mixed. Perhaps we can tell mansion, look, give us a bit less money and you can still sponsor us, just without any red squares…
Let’s face it, even if Mansion does leave the shirt, we could still end up with another red logo. Didn’t stop thomson.

Hmmm, I guess Mansion made a wrong bet.
If they up the pay-off to 4 million, then I’d say “take it and run”.
