Man Utd Third kit 08/09
As posted before it shows a white man utd away kit but i have looked and it has stated that the away black shirt for this season will b the third and a new blue kit will be the 08/09 away shirt. i have found these photos on a man utd fan forum.
Yes it could well be a fake but ti is more likely than the white shirt i would think

I wouldn’t think any of them are real, TBH. I’m sure this one was mocked up from this season’s goalkeeper shirt. These kind of shirts have been selling on ebay for most of the season, along with a plain white version - both very dodgy.
Notice how the stripes seem to go over the backbround of the crest on this pic, even though it’s different material? Very suspicious…
Why would they put a badge saying “champions 06-07″ on a shirt for next season?

it was just what i found on a forum. it looks better and more real than the white 1. but there is meant to be a blue top for the away and the black top is going to be the third. but just gotta see what rolls out really init.

I, for one, would buy this shirt, regardless of the fact it is similar to this seasons GK shirt (Let’s not forget, there is also more than one GK shirt including a green one I’ve seen Edwin wear on more than one occassion). Since the turn of the century, out away kits/3rd kits have only been blue, white or black, and seeing as we have a black one and are replacing the white, this blue one is logical.

exactly, McEl Gavin nufc, it IS Man Utd. That’s what the deal is. It’s the best team in the country and I, for one, would like to know what kit we’re gonna be wearing at Anfield next season when we beat the scousers again. And I’m impatient.

we already have these shirts in our markets in Kuwait. It’s not even original. they’re made in thailand and malaysia. They’re fake replica. I have one; the fabric is not the same (it’s definitely not NikeFIT technology). Also, the golden color of the badge is not the same too.
The reason I’m saying that is because I’ve both, the original shirt and this exact one shown in the pic above. They’re absolutely different.
Moreover, If you took a close look, you would see “TM” under man u crest, whereas, in the original ones you can see (R) thingy!

This is up for an auction on eBay, I saw it today. As ReKoO said, this jersey is fake, just like the white third shirt with two red stripes on the front, which was claimed to be the third shirt for 06/07 season.
Some people call it grade A jerseys and they could well be the ones manufacturers produce to check how it looks. I think the Lpool and Chelsea shirts are also choices from this kind of stuff because in those pictures, sun light can well go through the shirt. But they are the best among they’ve produced and they will be the kits for them probably for the next season. But this is certainly not going to be the third jersey for united next season, because Nike can do much much better. I’ve also bought a fake one from eBay, black away jersey. It was supposed to have DriFit technology but in fact it made it harder to play football by making you sweat more.
It has to be a fake, how dark are thoughs stripes??!! Ive seen fake versions of the current home shirt around that also has dark stripes like that!! Also what does blue have to do with the red devils? were red, white & black!!!
Brad: That Ji Sung Park (on youtube) pic has been doing the rounds for over a year now. It’s one of the most obvious fakes I’ve ever seen - as if we’d have another gray away kit after the debacle with the last one!
Also, Mike, you may remember that United wore blue in the 1968 European cup final. The only colour film of the Busby Babes shows them wearing a blue shirt, and since 1968 we’ve had 13 other blue away kits. It’s pretty traditional, wouldn’t you say?

The blue one at the top is fake. You can tell because of the retail tags. Nike no longer uses those black gray retail tags. The tags on the current seasons shirts are white and square in shape. There have been alot of blue and white fakes based of this seasons style on eBay. My guess is that in the early stages of planning they were considering these colors along with the black, with the black obviously winning out.

well the blue 1 is fake bcoz dat is the goalkeper kit for this season with giggs on it u can tell because it says 2006/07 champs not 07/08 and finally the white looks more suitable than the blue

Haha. Dan, ur photos look …uh … photoshopped. I think it’s more likely that we’ll have a blue away kit for next season, as we’ve already had white and black for the last 2. Normally it goes that way, but i think a white away kit would be nicer …
Im sorry to dissapoint gentleman but this forthcoming season we are not having a new strip produced. We have three already, and we feel like it would be best not to scam our loyal supporters for another consecutive year with a 40 pound gimmick.

i think the white one is real coz it looks similar to the design of the new Arsenal kit. But i don’t think the color is right in the photo as i saw another that looks exactly the same but it’s white x black not blue.

Ive seen the new away kit its not out yet though.
Its white with a blue and red collar, blue shorts and white socks. The AIG is blue and there are blue lines on the side.Similar to the white kit but instead of black its blue.I dont really mind it though i thought the black one was better… I wouldve posted it though i dont know how to as the paste option doesnt come up…
A bit off topic, but i was in tenerife recentally and i bought a blue and white striped utd jersey at a market. The guy who sold it to me said it was a prototype that was being considered as an away jersey last season, before utd settled on the black one. It is a legitamite nike product and has AIG on the front. I am desperate to get another1, as they are very rare. Does anybody know any websites i might be able to get rare utd jerseys?

Check the united official website. There is a new blue jersey coming out next week. It is to commemorate the great team that won the champions league 40 years ago.
