Man Utd Home Shirt 2007/09

This piece of information will surely remove all the uncertainty currently surrounding the Man Utd Home Shirt. On one part of the official store, it says that the red shirt is for the period 2007/08 and on the other part it says for 2007/09.

I am pleased to inform all Man Utd fans that we will NOT be having a new home shirt next season. Man Utd will retain their current red shirt, seen above, for the 2008/09 campaign. This information is based on a highly-informed official resource. Only the away kit will be changed next season, while the home shirt will remain unchanged.     Good news if this is true. I hated this shirt at first, btu it really has grown on me (although I’m still not buying it). Hopefully the black away shirt will become the third shirt next season.

    We always keep the kit for 2 years, with the exception of the home kit from 06/07 which was a one off for the Munich Disaster. The current home shirt WILL be the home shirt for next season, make no mistake about it.

    This shirt doesn’t really ‘feel’ like a Man Utd shirt for me. Kind of hard to explain, but there’s just not much to it. It looks kind of cheap, maybe it’s the sponsor? They’ve certainly had better (93/94 in particular is my fave)

    I really want them to keep the current black away kit as their away for next season aswell, but the rumours are its either gonna be a blue away kit or white. I supose if the black moves to third its better than nothing.

    And I also no what some of you people mean about the home kit doesnt feel like united, I agree with that, even though I did buy it!!

    I am sure the home kit will be the same for next season but i relly hope that we get a new away kit and 3rd kit. Mainly for promotion and to look good it will be boring if we stick with the same kits. Also i would but a new player on my new shirt but couldn’t if we dont get any new kits for next season. I also belive that the new away kit could be grey look on Utube and see for yourself.

    I didnt buy this one because as you say it doesnt feel like a united shirt i kept my 06-07 shirt cos i really liked it is there any 10th anniversary shirt of the treble

    How can people say this shirt is ‘amazing’? It is either the same as last season, or mayb some very small changes have been made.
    Don’t buy it, waste of money
