Lyon Home, Away & Third shirts 08/09
French champions Lyon have revealed their Home, Away and Third/European shirts that they will wear next season made by Umbro.
the home shirt is lyon’s colour of White, There is a red and blue stripe runing down the left side of the shirt and there is blue piping around the shoulders. The club badge is on the left of the shirt and the maker’s, Umbro, have their logo in the top right of the shirt. The club’s main sponsor, Novotel, have their name written across the middle of the shirt.
The Away shirt is primarily Blue. There is black piping around the shoulders and there is red and blue on the bottom of the collar. The club badge is on the left of the shirt and the maker’s, Umbro, have their logo in the top right of the shirt. The club’s other sponsor, Ticket, have their name and logo across the middle of the shirt.
The third/European shirt is mainly Yellow/Lime Green. Like the Home shirt, There is a red and blue stripe runing down the left side of the shirt and there is blue piping around the shoulders. The club badge is on the left of the shirt and the maker’s, Umbro, have their logo in the top right of the shirt. The club’s main sponsor, Novotel, have their name written across the middle of the shirt.
A nice shirt not particularly spoint by the use of the Umbro template, would have been nicer if the collar neck piece was one colour but OK.
I really like them and I would say that these are easily the best Umbro kits around.
I think the collar suits them as well
The 3rd away is similar to Barcelona away 08/09
Lyon have probably the best looking kits in France. 3rd one does look like Barca.
Why do they all have different sponsers ???
every year same shirt for Lyon….
they need to drop the umbro sponsor, get rid of it, need nike or addidas
nice kits but the 3rd 1 is pretty grim
