Liverpool Third Shirt Officially Launched
This Liverpool shirt has had leaked copies going around but has just been officially released. It has been launched as a European Away shirt or the Third shirt.
The shirt is aqua like in colour with 4 dark vertical aqua stripes running down the shirt. It boasts a traditional collar which is black. It has the classic white Adidas stripes on the shoulders with black on the end of the sleeves. The shirt has the club logo on the left hand side of the chest with the shirt-maker Adidas located below the neck. The sponsor Carlsberg is found in the middle of the shirt in white. Inside the base of the shirt is a striped white and red design.

I hate that bloody colour, foisted on them by Adidas 15+ years ago. It’s a rotten colour, and they have a truly dreadful club crest that should be scrapped immediately and replaced by an embroidered gold Liver bird.

Nice to see teams in this type of shirts rather than standard black templates for away and third shirts. I’m not a fan of Liverpool but their away and third kits this season are just great, not to mention the away goalkeepers shirt.

I have mixed feelings about the return of green at Anifeld. I know some punters hated it with a passion as it symbolized the decline of the club during the Souness era. I actually like the 92 away shirt personally. The 98 green reebok version was the worst LFC shirt in past 15 years. As for the current shirt, I like the simple template but the neckline and collar are too generic & should have probably been white - it look’s like a goalkeeper’s shirt. Adidas should have used the checkered pattern it used on the grey one. Overall, decent shirt. HOWEVER, A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY AS THERE IS NO REASON TO BUY AS THIS IS 6TH, YES 6TH AWAY SHIRT ADIDAS HAS RELEASED IN THE LAST 3 YEARS. It’s your money - you decide.

Hey..! But it’s not that bad! I thought it was going to be ugly because of the leaked pictures, it looked very flat.. but those watermark stripes make this shirt look a lot nicer, and that checkered thing inside is looking good.. If I wasn’t struggling with getting the home shirt here in Venezuela, I would get this one too, unfortunately it ain’t gonna happen.. 100% LFC no matter what.. YNWA
I dont understand why they dont use this shirt as their standard away shirt it is quality shirt anyway and is 500x better than the piece of sh*t which is the away shirt
to be fair to the united fan for the bet team in the world right now, their tickets are a decent price compared to some clubs. at least when you go there even if your team looses usually you see some good football bein played. liverpool fans annoy me, they think they’re well good just cause the belt out you’ll never walk alone once a game, they don’t actually sing other than that
