Limited-edition Bologna Centenary Shirts
Bologna FC is an Italian football club playing in Serie A, which is the top division in the country. Last season, they avoided relegation by just 3 points as they finished in the 17th position with 37 points from 38 games. After three matches in the 2009/10 season, they have yet to register a win, as they lost one and drew two. The team plays home games at Renato Dall’Ara stadium which has a capacity of 38000 fans. In Italy, they are popularly known as Rossoblu, which translates the Red-Blues. These are the club’s traditional colours. The history of the club dates back to 1909 when the club was founded in October by the Austrian student Emilio Arnstein. It is said that the club copied the red and blue colours from English club Crystal Palace.

To commemorate the club’s centenary, they have teamed with their shirt sponsor Macron to design a special limited-edition shirt. In fact, only 1909 of these shirts will be manufactured. The sponsor or manufacturer logos will not be present on these retro shirts. The shirts have a long collar. The right side of the body is blue while the left side is red, with the collar and sleeve being the opposite colour of the body. The shirt has a buttoned pocket on the left side of the chest, and the collar is also buttoned and extends down to the middle of the shirt. The shirt will be worn once by the team during the match against Genoa, and this will be on the 4th October, which is one day after the club celebrates its 100th anniversary. White shorts will accompany this special shirt.

Wow, that is a very good interpretation of the kits from yesteryear.
I read somewhere that some Hammers fans were worried about Macron templates.
Gentlemen, you got well served.
