Lech Poznań Home Kit

Posted on July 16th, 2008 in Poland by reddevilrooney

Lech Poznań is a Polish football club playing in the highest level of Polish football, the Orange Ekstraklasa. Last season, the team ranked fourth in the league, with 57 points from 30 games. Although it would normally go to the team in the third place, Lech Poznań gained qualification for the First Qualifying Round of UEFA Cup, with the matches to be played on the 17th and 31th July against Azerbaijani club Khazar Lenkoran. Lech Poznań was a very successful club in Poland, especially in the early 1980s and 1990s. They won the Ekstraklasa five times in their history: 1983, 1984, 1990, 1992 and 1993.

Embarking on a hopefully successful season, domestically and in Europe, Lech Poznań have presented the new home kit that they will be using for matches played at Stadion Miejski. The shirt is designed and manufactured by Puma, which have their logo placed on the front-right, and on both shoulders. The shirt sponsors are beer manufacturer Warka (front-centre), and Remes (shorts). Both the shirt and the shorts will be blue, with the only detail being a black V-neck collar on the shirt. The socks that complete the new Lech Poznań home kit will be white, and will have a horizontal blue stipe at the top.
