Leaked: US World Cup Shirt
After many teams have already launched their World Cup shirts (mainly those manufactured by adidas), we now have a leaked picture of what will probably be the United States’ national team shirt for the World Cup.
United States qualified for the South African World Cup alongside Mexico and Honduras in the CONCACAF qualifying section. The US topped their group with 20 points, winning 6 matches out of 10, losing 2 and drawing another 2.
The US shirt is manufactured by Nike and features a blue collar with a light grey diagonal sash on the front of the shirt and a red touch on each end of the sleeve. The national team crest is featured just over the heart with the Nike logo featured on the top right part of the shirt.
Their current one is much nicer
The US has a history of having nice WC shirts, this one is no exeption, looks really good in my opinion.
Hate to be heretical, but what fails this shirt (as well as all shirts in recent memory) is the ugly crest. US Soccer needs to come up with a crest suitable to the occassion.

what a failure compared to their current one…they should just stick their current one, that’s one of the best shirts around. plus, this one looks a little dodgy, a little fake
i heard that the away is royal blue with a white sash like that
i agree the current white one is gorgeous. this ones all right, i wish the sash was red and blue, that would make the shirt a lot better. the problem i have with the crest is with the stripes – the flag has red and white stripes, i doesnt make sense to have blue and white stripes on the crest. why not have it match the flag?
Ugh, make the stripe red! So plain, Nike blows. And I agree with the crest comment, so ugly AND “US”? Our fans chant USA for God’s sake!! Thank God for throwback jerseys, 1950 obviously inspired this, but the stripe was……RED!

they should keep the current one and use this as a template, give it some red or blue and use it as the 2nd kit. Maybe all blue with the stripe being red/white/red.
It doesnt matter theyll only play 3 games…they havent been able to win in over a month…its embarrasing they suck now!
Not bad. But why the red shapes at the end of the sleeves? They are one of those design elements that really pops out instead of working with the rest of the shirt.

Nice effort. The diagonal stripe is rather pointless if it’s not a bolder colour, blue and red perhaps.

Hope it’s a fake. Collar doesn’t look Nike-like or authentic. The sash doesn’t work. What’s with the red (semi-) stripes at the sleeves? C’mon, Nike, you could make a boatload of $ next year with a decent US shirt. Try adapting your shirt for Rayados de Monterrey in the Primera Division.
